We are Creedal, not Confessional
This means we anchor ourselves in the historic, foundational beliefs of the Christian faith while welcoming and working alongside faithful Christians from across Christendom—including Protestant, Roman Catholic, and Eastern Orthodox traditions.
We believe Christian infighting is the privilege of a victorious civilization—a privilege we no longer possess. Therefore, we are committed to principled cooperation and coalition among Christians in order to contend faithfully in the cultural and moral challenges of our age.
Our unity is grounded in the shared core of historic Christianity. To that end, we affirm the ancient creeds of the Church, which have been received and confessed across the broad stream of Christendom:
- The Apostles’ Creed
- The Nicene Creed
- The Chalcedonian Definition
These creeds faithfully summarize the essential doctrines of the Christian faith, including the Trinity, the full divinity and humanity of Jesus Christ, His death and resurrection, and the hope of eternal life.
While we recognize and respect the rich theological traditions represented among our partners, we unite around these shared truths for the sake of fidelity to Christ and effective witness in the world.
